Folders contain Twyla Tharp's choreographic notes, rehearsal schedules, handwritten notes about the dance technique, forms of dance and ballet positions in 17th and 18th centuries, description of movement, parts of the screenplay. Folders include also numerous research materials xeroxed from different books regarding opera staging and dance in 17th and 18th centuries, as well as several librettos.

Twyla Tharp is American modern dancer and choreographer. She was born 1 July 1941 in Portland, Indiana and grew up in Rialto, California. She attended Pomona College and received the Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College in 1963.
